How can Filipinos get a Filipino passport?
If you are a Filipino and want to get Filipino passport, you may die before getting it. It is very hard , very long time waiting for any Filipino to get a passport.
A Filipino passport is a must for Filipinos who wish to travel. Whether it’s the first time applying for a passport or renewing an old one, Filipinos need to make an appointment online through the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) website. Getting an appointment is not an easy thing today. DFA make slots for appointment available on-line. But, all will be consumed in the first few hours. Many fixers and brokers will be waiting to get the slots, and sell to the applicants for high prices.
You get an appointment, then submit the required documents – which are many – to be able to get your Filipino passport after 10 to 15 days. You can choose to have your Philippine passport delivered to your doorstep or pick up by yourself. Now, the process may take up to 8 to 15 weeks to complete. Really, It is so long!
